Serious Black-Arab Divide Emerging
The black-Jewish alliance is spreading the truth
A divide between blacks and Arab Muslims is beginning to emerge on social media (see examples below). Much of it is focused on reports of jihad murder and enslavement of blacks in Africa — taking place now and in the past — which American blacks are seeing more and more.
News of these horrors are slowly trickling out. Our new project, the African Jewish Alliance, has been continuously disseminating it on social media and in the press.
The African Jewish Alliance unites African immigrant communities with Jews and Israel. These Africans are our allies because they are mostly fervent Christians who read our Bible and see Israel as the work of G-d. So, too, they see Israel as their ally against the jihadspreading to Africa.
The African Jewish Alliance message:
What happened to Jews on October 7 in Israel is happening to Africans in 10 African countries: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, and Sudan.
Jihadists are storming villages, murdering innocents, burning people alive, raping women and girls, and carting them off into sexual slavery. Many Americans recall how Michelle Obama, hearing of the horrific Chibok raid on Nigerian schools in 2014, created the “#BringBackOurGirls” hashtag — before her interest rapidly waned.
Why we must explain to black Americans the morality and practicality of spreading the word that Arabs and Muslims are murdering and enslaving Africans today:
1. It challenges “intersectionality,” the idea that all minorities in the West are victims of white (and now Jewish) oppression, and, therefore, all “victim” groups have the same interests and should support each other’s causes. Since the 1960s, this has led many blacks, often college-“educated” ones, to become pro-Arab and anti-Israel. Many blacks, who were once historical allies of the Jews, have been taken from us and have joined our (and their) foes. But, as these new social media confrontations show (see below), once the Arab-Muslim assault on blacks becomes known, this false alliance will be vigorously challenged.
2. It challenges “Islamophobia,” which claims that no criticism of any Muslim behavior, beliefs, or past history is allowed in civil discourse. This will come tumbling down when the issue of jihad and slavery visited upon black Africans rises to the fore.
Our African and black American partners at the AJA have been disseminating news and analysis of these atrocities, and now these truths are being picked up by black social media users.
As a result, some in the black community are beginning to feel alienated from Arabs pushing the anti-Israel narrative. When Arabs within leftist anti-Israel movements criticize blacks for prioritizing their own interests over the Palestinian “cause,” there is angry pushback, including reminders of the legacy of jihad and the Arab slave trade.
Here is a selection (please bear with the graphic language):
• A video montage of back-and-forths between black and Arab leftists, in which the Arabs condemn the blacks for wanting to vote for the “cop” Kamala Harris, and the blacks fight back with history — one saying (correctly) that Palestinians themselves subject Africans to “voracious racism.”
• A black user reacts to learning about the black “Al-Abid” neighborhood in Gaza — abid meaning both “slave” and “black person” in colloquial Arabic.
• A tearful Arab user rages against black Americans — because, she says, some serve overseas in the U.S. armed forces and “kill us”; a black user points out her racist hypocrisy in light of the Arab slave trade and violent conquest of Africa.
• A black user points out that Arab Muslims played no role in either the American civil rights movement or the campaign against apartheid in South Africa.
• A fed-up black leftist activist characterizes these condescending Arab insults as “telling women — women of color — what to do.”
There is now, as there was not before, a priceless opportunity to win back many in the black community and to deliver a blow to the anti-Semitic “Red-Green alliance” between Marxists, Arabs, and Muslims.
