The Jewish Leadership Project (JLP) is building a fearless movement of Jews and allies who refuse to stay silent in the face of rising antisemitism. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Charles Jacobs and Avi Goldwasser, JLP combines moral clarity with bold action. We expose failed leadership, mobilize grassroots communities, and defend America’s core values of liberty, justice, and human dignity.

JLP Mission

The Jewish Leadership Project mobilizes Jews and allies to confront rising antisemitism and defend America itself from the forces seeking to undermine it with clarity and courage. We defend Jewish civil rights, build grassroots power, and reframe the fight against antisemitism as part of the broader struggle to preserve America’s core principles of liberty, justice, and human dignity. We believe the survival of American Jewry and the survival of America are inseparable.

JLP Strategy

Version 1

The Jewish Leadership Project is building a movement of clarity, courage, and urgency. We fight not only for Jews, but for America’s survival.

Our battle plan:

  • Go on offense: Expose the lies about Israel and highlight the betrayal of universal human rights by the Red-Green alliance.
  • Political engagement: Mobilize Jews in civic and political life.
  • Legal action: Defend Jewish civil rights through the courts.
  • Grassroots teams: Train and organize Jews locally to confront antisemitism in schools, campuses, workplaces, and media.
  • Alliances: Unite with all Americans who defend Western liberal values.
  • Leadership: Cultivate a fearless new generation of Jewish leaders.
  • Messaging: Build unapologetic communication to win the digital battlefield.

Version 2

  • Go on offense by exposing antisemitic lies and reframing the narrative as a fight for America’s survival.
  • Empower Jewish communities through grassroots organizing, civic engagement, and legal action.
  • Forge alliances with all Americans—Christians, Hindus, Persians, Africans, and others—who share a commitment to Western liberal values.
  • Develop new leadership unafraid to speak truth and act decisively.
  • Seize the digital battlefield with unapologetic, assertive messaging.

 

Partnership Principles

While we wish to build as broad a coalition as possible with the largest number of partners, it is imperative not to be blind to who our friends are and who are not. JLP must avoid the error of preferring inclusivity to effectiveness because often building a “Big Tent” that hosts incompatible organizations paralyzes effective activism.

To ensure cohesion and effectiveness of the coalition all partner organizations must adhere to the following core principles.
